TIME THIEVES

About the film

Forget petrol, water or rare earths. There is a new natural resource that everybody wants – our time! This documentary travels the globe to investigate how capitalism and globalisation have turned our time into a lucrative commodity, and how the tyranny of the clock has taken over both our jobs and personal lives. Time thieves like the modern self-service economy and the social networks are putting us to work in the little spare time that remains. How can we regain control over this precious but finite resource?

Essential viewing! Hones in on the ways in which the capitalist system makes us slaves to the clock.
